Orientor
Adjusts the orientation of a polygonal feature, a surface or the direction of a linear feature.
Input Ports
When the Orientation Type is Reverse, then points, lines, areas, surfaces and solids are accepted.
When the Orientation Type is Right hand rule or Left hand rule, only areas are accepted.
Output Ports
Features with orientation as specified by Orientation Type.
When the Orientation Type is Reverse, features that are not points, lines, areas, surfaces or solids will be rejected.
When the Orientation Type is Right hand rule or Left hand rule, features that are not areas will be rejected.
Parameters
If the feature is an area, a Right hand rule orientation causes the outer boundary to have its vertices arranged in a clockwise direction, and the holes to have their vertices in a counterclockwise direction.
The opposite is true when Left hand rule is specified. When the Left hand rule is specified, the feature's outer boundary vertices are in a counterclockwise order and the holes have a clockwise ordering.
When Reverse is specified, the feature's coordinates are flipped so that the first coordinate becomes the last one, and vice-versa. This option is intended for use with features that are not polygonal. This transformer has no effect on solid geometries. Only the Reverse option is available for surface geometries.
If Flip Appearances is set to Yes, the appearances of each face of a solid input feature will change sides.

Editing Transformer Parameters
Using a set of menu options, transformer parameters can be assigned by referencing other elements in the workspace. More advanced functions, such as an advanced editor and an arithmetic editor, are also available in some transformers. To access a menu of these options, click beside the applicable parameter. For more information, see Transformer Parameter Menu Options.
