Download and Run the Installer

Install the floating license server on three different computers using the instructions in sections Before You Begin through Installing a New Floating License.

Send an e-mail to codes@safe.com and include the FlexNet Host ID, the hostname assigned to each of the computers, and serial number. To get your serial number, see the confirmation e-mail you received after purchasing FME Desktop.

We will e-mail you a file called safe.lic that contains the key code file for the license code servers. Copy the safe.lic file into each of the FlexServer directories on your license server nodes.
