Troubleshooting

For convenience, feature types correspond to Google Maps Engine raster names. However, raster names on Google Maps Engine are not necessarily unique.

In such a situation, work around the ambiguity by renaming the raster with non-unique names using the Google Maps Engine web interface, or change the FME feature type to be a Google Maps Engine raster asset ID.

To obtain the asset ID from the Google Maps Engine web interface, open the details page for the table and click the Access Links button.

It is possible to have a conflict in the name of the raster collection that a raster asset will be added to. In the case of a conflict the value specified in the format attribute ‘gme_collection_name’ takes precedence over the vlauespecified on the feature type parameters.
