Oracle Spatial Object Reader Feature Type Parameters
To access feature type parameters, click the gear icon on a feature type in the workspace to open the Feature Type Parameter Editor. To always display the editor in Workbench, you can select View > Windows > Parameter Editor.
All feature types share similar General Parameters. This includes Name and Writer Name. From here, you can also control Dynamic Properties.
These parameters apply only to a selected feature type, not to the entire reader.
Note: If a feature type parameter corresponds to a reader-level parameter, then the reader parameter will be ignored and the feature type parameter will be used.
Table Settings: Spatial
The name of the column containing geometry, when reading from only one of multiple geometry columns. When not specified, the first geometry column found is chosen.
These parameters specify the spatial extent of the features to be read from the layer.
If these parameters are not all specified, the values from the Reader Parameters are used.
Table Settings: MapInfo Symbology
This parameter specifies the name of the column which contains style information for MapInfo symbology.
When set, the feature read will contain a set of MIF format attributes and FME generic attributes which correspond to the symbology information parsed from this field. If this parameter is not set, no symbology is read.
