Jump to Configuration

Typical Uses

  • Extracting elevations from geometry to an attribute for further processing.

How does it work?

The ElevationExtractor receives any type of geometry and extracts the z coordinate value of the feature’s first coordinate into an attribute.

If the input feature is 2D, the Elevation output attribute will receive a value of zero (0).

Rasters, including elevation models, will also receive an elevation value of zero (0).
