Google BigQuery Reader: Feature Type Parameters
To access feature type parameters, click the gear icon on a feature type in the workspace to open the Feature Type Parameter Editor. To always display the editor in Workbench, you can select View > Windows > Parameter Editor.
General
All feature types share similar General parameters, which may include the Feature Type Name, Reader or Writer Name, and Geometry.
In most Writer Feature Type parameter dialogs, you can also control Dynamic Schema Definitions. Some database formats accept a Table Qualifier prefix on the output table feature type.
See Editing Writer Feature Types for more information.
These parameters apply only to a selected feature type, not to the entire reader.
Note: If a feature type parameter corresponds to a reader-level parameter, then the reader parameter will be ignored and the feature type parameter will be used.
To construct a WHERE clause, click the browse button to open the Where Clause editor. You can also type a WHERE clause directly in the parameter field.
If the WHERE clause SQL is invalid, the translation will fail.
If this parameter is set to Yes, results will be stored in a table (in addition to being output as features).
The default setting is No.
Controls the action to take when loading data into the destination table:
- Write if empty: Writes the data only if the table is empty.
- Append to table: Appends the data to the end of the table.
- Overwrite table: Replaces all existing data in the table.
Only applies if a destination table has been chosen. Causes the usual restrictions on large volumes of data to be ignored.
When Enable Destination Table is set to Yes, results will be stored in the table specified in this parameter (in addition to being output as features).
Specifies whether the BigQuery cache from previous queries will be used, if possible. When a query is satisfied by the cache, you will not be billed for any usage.
Note: Caching cannot be enabled when a destination table has been selected.
