To use the Teradata spatial extension, the reader and writer will need to have permissions over certain tables of the database. To ensure the usability, the database user that is used for the transaction should have the following permissions:
- UDT Usage rights over the SYSUDTLIB database.
- Execute Function rights over the SYSSPATIAL database.
- Select and Insert rights on the SYSSPATIAL.spatial_ref_sys table.
