Managing Billing
The Billing page provides options for managing the invoicing of your FME Flow Hosted account. You can:
- View summary information about your account balance and costs.
- Create alerts when your estimated monthly cost exceeds a specified threshold, or estimated credit balance falls below a specified amount.
- View and download previous invoices.
- View available credits.
- Update payment method and billing address.
To access billing management options
- Open the Billing page.
- Select one of the following tabs:
- Total costs: The total cost in $US for the FME Flow Hosted account usage up to the current date for the month. This estimate is updated hourly.
- Monthly Cost Breakdown: Lists all instances that contribute to total month-to-date cost, with their respective estimated costs in $US. The volume of storage billed in a month is based on the amount of storage assigned to the instance and the portion of the month for which the instance existed. The value is represented in storage-month and computed based on: Amount of storage x (hours in existence / hours in the month).
- Cost Summary: Shows a graphical breakdown of the total cost per month by Instance Types, disk storage (Root, Primary, and others), data transfer, and snapshots. To display the cost for any of these categories for a specific month, hover over the respective section.
- Add and remove credit cards.
- Change billing address.
- Change billing invoice name or company.
- Payment Account: Contact information for the FME Flow Hosted account owner. To change the account owner, see Adding, Updating, and Removing Account Users.
- Add or remove billing notification groups.
- Low Credit Alert: Sends a notification when your estimated credit balance falls below a configurable amount.
- Monthly Cost Alert: The monthly costs of your FME Flow Hosted account. Each billing alert triggers a notification when your estimated monthly cost exceeds a defined threshold.
- Click Create Alert.
- On the Create Billing Alert page, specify:
- Type: Alert type
- An amount, depending on Alert Type:
- Monthly Cost Alert: Threshold amount (Alert when cost exceeds), in $US, of the estimated monthly cost of your account. The alert triggers when this amount goes above the specified value. You can enter a threshold amount, or under Cost Summary, drag the red line up or down to the desired value.
- Low Credit Alert: Amount, in $US, of the estimated credit balance of your account (Alert when remaining credits fall below). The alert triggers when this amount reaches the specified value.
- Notify: An FME Flow Hosted account or previously configured notification group as the recipient of the alert.
- Alert Name: A name for the alert.
- Click Create Alert.
Provides summary information about your monthly account balance and costs.
Provides itemized lists of costs and credits. You can access all previous billing statements of your FME Flow Hosted account. You can search billing history by month and year. To download a past invoice, click the download icon beside the desired invoice.
Shows available credits for your account, in $US.
If you are planning to run one or more FME Flow Hosted instances continually, it is significantly cheaper to purchase an annual pan up-front. On this tab, you can purchase plans, or reassign them to other instances.

Click the ellipsis (...) beside the alert and select Edit or Delete.
