Reader Overview (VRML 2.0)
The VRML reader produces FME features for geometry data from VRML files, but it supports only a small subset of VRML 2.0 (VRML97).
All geometries generated by the reader will be stored as an fme_aggregate.
Note: The reader does not support animations or Proto nodes.

Supported Appearance Node Options
- Diffuse Color
- Specular Color
- Emissive Color
- Shininess
- Image Texture
Note: These Appearance options must be set for VRML, because they are used to render objects, and are a requirement of the standard. If no Materials {} node is present to set these options, the defaults will be used, as specified in the standard (ISO/IEC 14772-1:1997). This is equivalent to inserting this node:
