Changing the File System to Another Machine

You may want to change the location where FME Server System Share files are stored to another networked machine. These files may include:

Repository files
Resources

Changing the file system location manually is a complex task that is subject to error. Instead, we recommend that you perform an upgrade operation (even if you are 'upgrading' to the same version of FME Server). At the Install procedure (after Backup and Uninstall), select a Custom installation. During the install, on the FME Server Repository Directory dialog, specify the path that you want. After reinstalling, perform a Restore.
