Note: You can publish workspace templates to FME Server in order to store and share them. However, you cannot run templates from FME Server.
Open the workspace you want to publish. Click File > Publish
to FME Server..., or click the button 
on the Workbench toolbar.
The Publish to FME Server wizard opens. Proceed through the panels of the wizard:
- Connect to FME Server
- Publish a Workspace, Transformer, or Custom Format
- Upload Connections
- Register Services
Note: To publish to FME Server, you must have an FME Server configured and available. For information, contact your System Administrator.
Publishing Between Versions of FME Desktop and FME Server
Safe supports publishing between versions of FME Desktop and FME Server in which the service pack (2014 and previous) or "first" point (2015 and later) versions match. For example:
