Security Hardening

Select System Configuration > Security.

Specifies the level of security hardening applied to FME.

Note For any changes to take effect, you must:

Maximum security. Restricts many sensitive operations within FME.

Balanced security. Allows most operations. Default for new installations.

Basic security only. Almost all capabilities allowed. Use only for isolated development or testing environments.

To fine-tune your security settings, apply a JSON snippet provided by Safe Software Inc. To obtain a snippet, go to the FME Support Center.
