Geometries

PipeReplacer

Replaces the geometry of the feature with a three-dimensional pipe created by sweeping a stroked disk along the input curve.

Usage Notes

  • If the input path has tangent discontinuities (i.e. corners) the pipe will have mitered corners.

  • If the input path has a corner sharper than 135 degrees, the miter corner will be truncated.

  • If smooth corners are preferred, the input path curve may be preprocessed with a Generalizer, using the Fillet smoothing algorithm.
