FMEFlowNotifier

Sends a notification to a specified FME Flow instance.

This notification will trigger a topic which can then be used in an automation or with a subscriber. The topic may be used for a variety of actions, such as triggering a downstream workspace, or sending an email message to subscribed clients.

This transformer requires an FME Flow connection.

Performance Considerations

Windows systems may experience slow performance in situations where a high volume of notifications are sent. Performance may improve by disabling automatic proxy detection:

  1. Click the Start menu,
  2. In the 'Search programs and files' textbox, type 'proxy' and select 'Configure proxy server'.
  3. In the Internet Properties dialog, Connections tab, click LAN settings.
  4. Uncheck Automatically detect settings.
  5. Click OK.
