DateTimeRounder
Rounds a DateTime value’s day, hour, minute, second, millisecond, microsecond, or nanosecond to a specified interval.
Typical Uses
- Generalizing DateTime values
How does it work?
DateTimeRounder can be used to round the date or time to a specific interval.
For example, you can have the time rounded to 5 minute intervals to keep all events in that timeframe grouped together.
DateTimeRounder can also be used to remove fractional seconds by rounding down to an interval of 1 second.
The input can be a DateTime in either the FME or ISO format. Output is in Standard FME Date/Time Format.
Sub-nanosecond durations are truncated before rounding.
