Password Policy

Select System Configuration > General.

When you enable Password Policy, you can set standards for the length and content of new or revised passwords. These standards appear as guidelines in the following places:

  • On the login page, when accessed from an e-mail to reset a password.
  • On the Users page, when a password is changed for an existing user, or created for a new user.

To Set Password Standards

  1. Click the Password Policy slider to enable.
  2. To expand, click anywhere next to Password Policy, but outside of the slider.
  3. Configure the standards as desired, and click Save.
