Editing Feature Types

Feature types are dependent on the format and dataset. However, in general, you can edit feature types on both the reader (source) and writer (destination) sides:

Editing Reader (Source) Feature Types

Specify merge settings and expose format attributes.

Editing Writer Feature Types

Edit general parameters, user attributes, and format attributes, specify Dynamic Parameters.

Displaying Feature Type Parameters and Attributes

To display the Feature Type dialog:

1. Click the grear icon on the upper right of the feature type, or
2. Select the feature type, and view properties in the Parameter Editor Window (View > Windows > Parameter Editor).
