Polygons

A polygon feature is a series of points strung together whose first and last points coincide to form a closed shape.

Simple Polygons

A simple polygon forms a single closed shape.

Donuts

A donut is made up of an outer polygon to define the perimeter and an inner polygon to represent a hole within it. The inner polygon is known as an island.
