Create a Directory for the Flexera License Manager

Create a directory for the Flexera License Manager on your license server computer, which is the computer that will manage the licenses. Extract the contents of fme-flexnet-linux-x64.tar.gz into this directory. For example:

% mkdir /opt/FlexServer

% cd /opt/FlexServer

% gunzip < ~/fme-flexnet-linux-x64.tar.gz | tar xf -

This directory is referred to as the FlexServer directory for the remainder of these instructions.
