Configure FME Form to Use the Floating License
Set Environment Variables
On each server running FlexNet, set these environment variables, as follows:
FME_USE_LM_ENVIRONMENT=YES
- LM_LICENSE_FILE=<port1>@<host1>,<port2>@<host2>,<port3>@<host3> where <port1>, <port2>, and <port3> are the ports you opened on each server for communication with FlexServer, and <host1>, <host2>, and <host3> are the hostnames of each server, respectively. For example:
LM_LICENSE_FILE=27009@pat,27009@lee,27009@terry
List each <port>@<host> combination in the same order as they appear in the safe.lic file.
Note If FME Form is the only application for which you run FlexNet or any FlexEnabled application, you can set the SAFE_LICENSE_FILE environment variable in the same manner, instead. the LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable applies to all FlexEnabled applications.
