HOM1XY: Hotine Oblique Mercator – Alaska Variation
This variation of Hotine produces rectified Cartesian coordinates. Its origin is the intersection of the central geodesic and the equator of the aposhere. The rectification method is specific to Zone 1 of the Alaska State Plan Coordinate System. Although it hasn’t been determined yet, it is possible this variation may be used for the Great Lakes Survey.
