How does Compare work?

Workbench compares a component in a workspace or exported custom transformer on one side to its counterpart in a workspace or exported custom transformer on the other side. Comparisons are based on components on each side that have the exact same names, including suffix.

What do the highlight colors mean?

Differences are highlighted as follows:

Light	Dark (Canvas View)	Dark (List View)	Meaning
			Component exists only on the left side.
			Component exists on both sides, but they differ from each other.
			Component exists only on the right side.

What does Copy to Left do?

This action replaces the selected components in the Editable file with their corresponding components in the Read-Only file that have the exact same names (including suffix). If you select a component that exists only in the Editable file, it is removed. If you select a component that exists only in the Read-Only file, it is added.
