Note: To publish workspace templates to FME Server, see Saving a Workspace as a Template.
Open the workspace you want to publish. Click File > Publish
to FME Server..., or click the button 
on the Workbench toolbar.
The Publish to FME Server wizard opens. Proceed through the panels of the wizard:
- Log in to an FME Server
- Publish a Workspace, Transformer, or Custom Format
- Upload Connections
- Upload Packages
- Register Services
Note: To publish to FME Server, you must have an FME Server configured and available. For information, contact your System Administrator.
Publishing from FME Desktop to FME Server When Versions Do Not Match
You can publish from versions of FME Desktop to FME Server in which the <year>.<major> versions match. For example:
