Sorter

Sorts features according to attribute values.

Typical Uses

  • Reordering features according to one or more attributes.

How does it work?

The Sorter receives features of any type and sorts them according to specified attributes and sorting methods. Multiple attributes may be used for sorting.

Sorting may be Natural, Alphabetic, or Numeric, and in Ascending or Descending Order.

Features with values that are not sortable according to the selected method (Sorting Exceptions) may be output either before or after the successfully sorted features.

Editing Transformer Parameters

Transformer parameters can be set by directly entering values, using expressions, or referencing other elements in the workspace such as attribute values or user parameters. Various editors and context menus are available to assist. To see what is available, click beside the applicable parameter.
