Merge Messages

Note The Merge Messages action is a backward compatibility feature. To incorporate new merges into workflows, use split-merge blocks instead. For more information, see Combining Messages from Multiple Workspace Actions.

Use the Merge Messages action to combine messages before proceeding with a workflow. This example merges the messages from two FME Form workspaces before sending an email. The combined message does not arrive at the Email external action until both workspaces have successfully completed.

The Merge Messages tool cannot be used to combine messages from:

Multiple triggers.
Run a Workspace action output ports that originate from FME Flow Automations writers.
