Before you install the FME Flow components for a 2-tier system, ensure the following non-FME Flow components are in place on your network:
- Database server on a separate machine.
- File system on a separate machine.
- Web application server, only if you want to use your own Apache Tomcat web application server, instead of the one provided with the FME Flow installer.
