Overview
Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) is an open, vendor-neutral standard for the exchange of Building Information Modelling (BIM) data. The IFC standard is maintained and published by BuildingSmart. The IFC standard is also published as ISO standard 16739.
Reader Overview
The IFC reader will automatically detect the version of the IFC file it is reading, by analyzing the file header.
The reader supports IFC2x, IFC2x2, IFC2x3 and IFC4.
Writer Overview
The IFC writer will output files using the IFC2x3 or IFC4 specification.
