FME Augmented Reality (FME AR) Writer Parameters
Initial Model Scaling
With compatible versions of the FME AR viewer app, this parameter controls how the initial presentation of the scene appears.
- The default mode (which is blank) means that the FME AR app will determine the initial display for the model.
- Fit – The entire model will be scaled so that all parts of the 3D geometry appear on screen at once.
- Full Scale – When viewed with a version of the FME AR viewer app, the model will be scaled such that it is displayed to scale. For example, this could be used to render an architectural drawing to provide a virtual 3D walkthrough, preserving distances and object sizes.
- Custom – Enables the Custom Scale parameter, which allows you to specify a custom scale while still preserving relative sizes and distances between objects in the scene.
Custom Scale
Used with Initial Model Scaling: Custom. This field allows floating point values, where the value is the number of model units that will fit in meters. Ratios such as 1:10 and 1to10 are also accepted.
