The Autodesk Revit Reader allows FME to read Revit Project files (.rvt).
Version Support
- The reader supports Revit versions 2015 - 2019.
Note: Revit versions 2011 - 2014 are unsupported; however, some output may still be produced.
Overview
The Revit reader produces FME features from a selected subset of data, filtered by discipline. The disciplines that are selectable include Architecture, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping. Additionally, it is possible to view only the exterior shell of a building with a sixth filter.
Reader Overview
The value for the Reader Dataset is the path to the .rvt source data file. If the data file does not exist, or if the file is unrecognized by the reader, then the translation will fail.
