Note: To use this format, you must be connected to an FME Server version 2013 or later.
Connection
FME Server URL
The machine running an FME Server instance to read from, in the form of a URL.
The expected format is http://<host>:<port>. The FME Server must support the REST Service.
Username
Specifies the username to authenticate with FME Server. The user must have fmesuperuser privileges.
Password
The password to authenticate with the FME Server.
Verify SSL Certificates
Ensure that the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate was issued by a trusted party and is still valid.
Configuration Categories
Categories
Click the browse button to select the FME Server configuration categories to read. FME Workbench reads these categories as feature types.
Schema Attributes
Additional Attributes to Expose
Use this parameter to expose Format Attributes in Workbench when you create a workspace:
- In a dynamic scenario, it means these attributes can be passed to the output dataset at runtime.
- In a non-dynamic scenario where you have multiple feature types, it is convenient to expose additional attributes using this one parameter. For example, if you have ten feature types and want to expose the same attribute in each one, it is easier to define it once than it is to set each feature type individually in the workspace.
