Overview

   This factory takes a set of point, linear, polygonal, and/or raster features,
   and renders them using the Mapnik toolkit.

   The LAYERS keyword specifies rendering rules. Each rule definition contains
   the name of the input port, the symbolizer type, and any style parameters.
   Style parameters may be set as fixed values (e.g. "fill-opacity=0.5") or as
   FME function calls (e.g. "fill-opacity=@Value(attr)"). Note that multiple
   symbolizers may be specified for one layer. For example, this allows one set
   of line data to be drawn multiple times (e.g. the line itself, plus a
   surrounding "glow"). Rules are drawn in the order they are specified, so
   the last definition will be drawn on top.

   The LAYER_CARDINALITY keyword specifies what defines a layer.
   When set to RULES, one layer is created for each individual rule passed
   to the LAYERS keyword.
   When set to PORTS, one layer is created for each input port.

   The size of the output raster can be determined by specifying either both
   NUM_COLUMNS and NUM_ROWS, or SPACING. NUM_COLUMNS and NUM_ROWS specify the
   size of the raster in cells. SPACING specifies the area covered by each cell;
   the final raster size will be the total extents divided by the spacing.

   The GROUND_EXTENTS_MIN_X, GROUND_EXTENTS_MIN_Y, GROUND_EXTENTS_MAX_X, and
   GROUND_EXTENTS_MAX_Y may be used to specify the area of the input data that
   should be rendered. By default, the extents of the output raster will be
   determined by the extents of the input data. However, these keywords may be
   used to render a fixed size. Note that these extents may not be exactly
   honored if the NUM_COLUMNS and NUM_ROWS keywords were used to specify the
   output raster size. This is because the x and y spacing must be equal, so
   (<x ground extents range> / <number of columns>) must be equal to
   (<y ground extents range> / <number of rows>). If this is not the case
   based on the specified extents and raster size, the extents may be enlarged
   in one dimension.

   INTERPRETATION parameter sets the interpretation of the output raster.
   Valid values are RGB24 and RGBA32.

   The BACKGROUND_COLOR, BACKGROUND_COLOR_ALPHA, and BACKGROUND_IMAGE keywords
   control the background of the raster. The BACKGROUND_COLOR and
   BACKGROUND_COLOR_ALPHA parameters set the background to a fixed color.
   The BACKGROUND_IMAGE parameter sets the background to an image. If these
   values are not specified, the background will be transparent.

   If the GROUP_BY clause is given, then one raster will be output for each
   set of features that have the same values in the attributes specified
   by this clause.
