Connects to Trello to manage boards, lists, and cards.

How does it work?

The TrelloConnector uses your account credentials to connect to Trello and perform various tasks:

Action	Task
Archive	Archive a board , list, or card .
Create	Create a new board , list, or card. Cards may receive coordinates from point geometry.
List	Retrieve details about boards, lists, or cards. Cards may include coordinates.
Update	Update an existing board, list, or card. Cards may receive coordinates from point geometry.

Once valid account credentials have been provided, you may browse to available content for the selected Action. Item IDs may also be entered directly.

Features with added attributes, as specified in parameters and according to Action:

Action	Output
Archive	Input feature with details about the archived item.
Create	Input feature with details about the new item.
List	Multiple features, one for each item in the specified location, with details about the items. Coordinate data on cards will be added to the output feature as FME point geometry (LL-WGS84).
Update	Input feature with details about the uploaded item.

Parameters

Authentication

Credential Source

Select the type of credentials to use:

Web Connection (Recommended) - Use a Trello web connection.
Embedded - Embed an access key ID and secret access key as parameters in the transformer

Account

When Credential Source is Web Connection, select or create a Web Connection connecting to aTrello Web Service.

When Credential Source is Embedded:

Access Key	Provide Trello account credentials.
Access Token	Provide Trello account credentials.

Archive Options

Trello Type	Select the type of the object to archive: Board List Card
Trello Board ID	When Trello Type is Board, specify the board to archive. When Trello Type is List or Card, specify the board containing the object to archive.
Trello List ID	When Trello Type is List, specify the list to archive. When Trello Type is Card, specify the list containing the object to archive.
Trello Card ID	When Trello Type is Card, specify the card to archive.
Permanently Delete	Select a deletion option: No (default) Yes - objects are permanently deleted, and this cannot be undone.

No attributes are added for this Action.

Select the type of the object to create:

List

Trello Board ID

When Trello Type is List or Card, specify the board to create the object on.

Trello List ID

When Trello Type is Card, specify the list to create the card on.

Name

Provide a name for the new object.

Description

(Optional) When Trello Type is Board or Card, provide a description of the new object.

Position

When Trello Type is Card or List, select the position of the new object:

When Trello Type is Board:

Trello Organization ID

Specify the new board’s Trello team.

Permission Level

Select a permission level for the new board:

Public
Private
Organization

(Optional) When Trello Type is Card:

Due Date and Time	Specify a due date and time in FME datetime format. Datetime is applied using the local time zone, according to the operating system.
Attachment File	Specify a file to be attached.
Attachment URL	Specify a URL to be attached.
Comment	Provide a comment to add.
Trello Member IDs	Specify any members of the selected board to add to the card.

List Attributes to Add

Select any available attributes to be included on the output features:

_board_id	Parent board ID of the Trello object.
_board_name	Parent board name of the Trello object.
_id	ID of the Trello object.
_name	Name of the Trello object

Card Attributes to Add

Select any available attributes to be included on the output features:

_attachment_urls{}	URL links to the file and URL attachments of the Trello card.
_board_id	Parent board ID of the Trello object.
_board_name	Parent board name of the Trello object.
_comments{}	Comments on the Trello card.
_description	Description of the Trello object.
_due_date	Due date and time for the Trello card, in UTC time zone and ISO format.
_id	ID of the Trello object.
_list_id	Parent list ID of the Trello card.
_list_name	Parent list name of the Trello card.
_member_ids{}	IDs of the members of the Trello object.
_member_names	Names of the members of the Trello object.

List Options

Trello Type	Select the type of the object to list: Board List Card
Trello Board ID	When Trello Type is List or Card, specify the board containing the objects to list.
Trello List ID	When Trello Type is Card, specify the list containing the objects to list.
Include Closed/Archived Objects	Select an option for including closed and archived objects when listing: No (Default): Do not include. Yes: Include.

Editing Transformer Parameters

Transformer parameters can be set by directly entering values, using expressions, or referencing other elements in the workspace such as attribute values or user parameters. Various editors and context menus are available to assist. To see what is available, click beside the applicable parameter.

How to Set Parameter Values

Defining Values

There are several ways to define a value for use in a Transformer. The simplest is to simply type in a value or string, which can include functions of various types such as attribute references, math and string functions, and workspace parameters.

Using the Text Editor

The Text Editor provides a convenient way to construct text strings (including regular expressions) from various data sources, such as attributes, parameters, and constants, where the result is used directly inside a parameter.

The Arithmetic Editor provides a convenient way to construct math expressions from various data sources, such as attributes, parameters, and feature functions, where the result is used directly inside a parameter.

Set values depending on one or more test conditions that either pass or fail.

Expressions and strings can include a number of functions, characters, parameters, and more.

When setting values - whether entered directly in a parameter or constructed using one of the editors - strings and expressions containing String, Math, Date/Time or FME Feature Functions will have those functions evaluated. Therefore, the names of these functions (in the form @<function_name>) should not be used as literal string values.

Content Types

String Functions	These functions manipulate and format strings.
Special Characters	A set of control characters is available in the Text Editor.
Math Functions	Math functions are available in both editors.
Date/Time Functions	Date and time functions are available in the Text Editor.
Math Operators	These operators are available in the Arithmetic Editor.
FME Feature Functions	These return primarily feature-specific values.
FME Parameters	FME and workspace-specific parameters may be used.
Creating and Modifying User Parameters	Create your own editable parameters.

Table Tools

Transformers with table-style parameters have additional tools for populating and manipulating values.

Row Reordering

Enabled once you have clicked on a row item. Choices include:

Add a row
Remove a row
Move current row up one
Move current row down one
Move current row to top
Move current row to bottom

Cut, Copy, and Paste

Enabled once you have clicked on a row item. Choices include:

Cut a row - delete and copy to clipboard
Copy a row to the clipboard
Paste a row from the clipboard

Cut, copy, and paste may be used within a transformer, or between transformers.

Filter

Start typing a string, and the matrix will only display rows matching those characters. Searches all columns. This only affects the display of attributes within the transformer - it does not alter which attributes are output.

Import

Import populates the table with a set of new attributes read from a dataset. Specific application varies between transformers.

Reset/Refresh

Generally resets the table to its initial state, and may provide additional options to remove invalid entries. Behavior varies between transformers.
