FME can write features (which have been styled by the MSWordStyler transformer) to a Microsoft Word document.
The Microsoft Word Writer writes features to a .docx file. Features are written one at a time, in the order they are received.
The .docx Microsoft Word file format has been the default Word file format since the release of Word 2007. (The .doc file format is not officially supported.)
The writer must be used in conjunction with the MSWordStyler transformer, which styles features appropriately for this format. The writer can either create a new document or append to the end of an existing base document. In either case, the document will be saved in a new location so that the base file is not overwritten.
