Before Installation

Before you install FME Server for fault tolerance, ensure the following components are in place on your network:

  • Separate machines on which to install the number of FME Servers that you have allocated for your fault tolerant architecture.
  • A load balancer to route traffic between each FME Server instance you install.
  • Fault-tolerant database server on a separate machine.
  • Fault-tolerant file system on a separate machine.
